“Good coffee and magnificent cake. You should try them all... Typical Portuguese pastry shop - cafeteria, simple, with that old-fashioned aroma. For those looking for a country classic. The attention of the owner, an elderly person, was great.“

“Absolutely the best pastel de nata in Lagos along with very local feel and other amazing pastries with torta de laranja topping our list.
Parking: There are plenty of paid parking lots just outside of the cafe - the later you arrive the more difficult it is to find a place.“

“Ran in here once on my way home from work because you can see the amount of Pastéis de Nata in the window, so you assume that it’s good if they make that many.
This was the best Pastel de Nata i’ve ever had, i need to go back here on a coffee date soon.“

“Absolutely deserves it status at a top restaurant. Had a taster menu and it was delicious from start to finish.
I’ve chosen not to post all courses so save the surprises but my stand outs were the squid dish which is probably in my top five dishes of all time. And also the orange tree.
Service and the experience was impeccable. Deserves the star.
Would go again.
Dietary restrictions: They substituted out for allergies to scallops, welks and clams.“

“Snacks type menu. Had the vegan wrap, tofu was plain - would have been nice if it was seasoned or marinated, but otherwise refreshing. Service was a little slow but it was busy. Partner had the pink crush smoothie bowl which was very nice and looked great! Updated from previous review on 2025-09-04“

“A little Portuguese house with Algarve sweets recovered from old recipes by D. Isabel over the years. The reception is warm and experienced. They are all great but I recommend the Alvor bowl, which is a delicate sweet with egg jam, cinnamon, lemon and a crunchy dough all around that gives it a texture. Great cold tea from Lúcia Lima and lemonade to go with it.“

“The cafe did not appear as good as when we went last March. There was only a small selection of cakes/ pastry. The duplo coffee was still as good but we could not find the pastry we would have liked. It was dark and rather warm in the cafe. Staff were pleasant.“

“The staff is great and the owner is very nice. The food and the drinks are just lovely. In my table we had the lemon cheesecake, cheesy scones, liqueur coffee with Jameson (delicious), two spicy mango margaritas (amazing), boozy affogato (lively), red wine (smooth) and everything was great! The place is small but cozy and cute, the terrace is right on a narrow beautiful typical portuguese street in the old town. It's the only openly lgbtqi+ friendly place in Lagos that i know., not that makes much of a difference since i have seen of sort of people stoping by to drink and eat. Well done!“
“My favourite place to get ice-cream, kids love it, best hours to get it it's at lunch because there is no queue line. We got it at night my younger cosins and my grandmother loved the 3 combinations, so they let you combine 3 ingredients, there are plenty of good ones ranging from fruits to chocolate and marshmallows even gummy bears, you can add extra in ingredients but you pay like 0.50€ for each extra.“

“The pastel de nata here are some of the best around. They are made directly in the store and come very hot. The coconut macaroons are also very tasty. The staff is nice and tries hard. However, the ambience is quite dated and not particularly nice, especially in the interior.“

“Era mesmo de um espaço assim que estávamos à procura, perto de casa, staff e dona muito acolhedores, comida saborosa e com um preço muito bom. Vamos aqui várias vezes e sentimo-nos sempre bem servidos, com comida muito bem confecionada, tradicional portuguesa. A nossa filha pequena sente-se em casa e gosta sempre da comida. Top! Recomendo a quem quer comer bem, bom preço, bom serviço e sem grandes confusões de turismo desenfreado.“
