Rough and ready and brilliantly so. A good Mexican should feel a bit raw and ramshackle. The food however should be excellent, basic beef/chicken/prawns but full of piquant flavours that make the difference and in La Fiesta it was all of this. Staff were also excellent. Margaritas were great, just go to this restaurant you won’t be disappointed.
Food very well prepared, good music and the house, although small, is comfortable, the terrace is small and the tables are angled on a small and very busy street. The spicy Margeritas are delicious, the price is a little higher than Mexican restaurants in the Algarve.
We tried la Fiesta in Alvor in June 2024 and had a wonderful time & experience with them Amazing food & drinks, the authentic Mexican cuisine was truly outstanding the staff were so helpful and great crack , they made you feel so welcome . They had a lot of gluten free options, loads of them too! Tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas. And reaaaally great restaurant overall for Mexican cuisine . Would highly recommend them if you’re in Alvor. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants!!!...
