“First things first, three stars doesn’t mean the service was bad (you don’t have to give 5 stars for everything) or that the atmosphere was poor. Both were good, there just wasn’t any scope for it to be better (through no fault of anyone). The food was great, my wife had a fantastic tiger prawn which was delicious, my son had crab for the first time and it was an event. Crab is always tasty but he got such a kick out of it that it would have been worth twice the price. I chose the Iberian pork which while tasty was only chosen to give the other two a fallback option if they didn’t like their crustaceans. Needless to say I won’t make that mistake again as the shellfish feckers (see what I did there, I know- hilarious) polished them off.“

“Very good experience! So good that we went there two evenings in a row. The staff are very charming and the food is great! The restaurant is a little away from the city center in a quiet street. Plus it’s very affordable, which is rare in such a touristy seaside town.“

“A great discovery. Very cool pizzeria, with an outdoor terrace very well decorated in the Italian style. We ordered two pizzas and a lasagna, one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. “I was a little apprehensive to come here as I don’t think the pictures do it justice! The fish is caught fresh & you can see them cooking it?? I had seabass and quite honestly say it’s the best seabass I’ve ever had. Tasted amazing! Also the fish soup to start was lovely so definitely recommend that too! They also allowed us to bring a cake & sang happy birthday with us!“

Impeccable treatment, friendly and attentive, very beautiful atmosphere and spectacular food! Some delicious roasted sardines, delicious grilled cod and WONDERFUL brothy razor clam rice! The dishes are delicious, the staff is very pleasant and the service is fast.
We had the chicken with mushrooms, tagliathelle with shrimp, 2 capï, 1 white sangria and a chocolate mousse.

“A very family-friendly restaurant, the fish and meat are grilled and you can see the cook at the grill. The fish soup was great.

I went back to this restaurant almost two years ago because I loved the fish soup, and today there was no fish soup, but we ordered monkfish rice and seafood rice ?? I loved it, for me the best monkfish rice I've ever eaten, at the point of spicy and the seafood rice was also divine. I highly recommend it! The fish also looked incredible.

“There were four of us, that went to Nora's last week. Do not let the scruffy car park put you of. Inside the place is clean and bright, there are also places outside. The staff are friendly and attentive. They have meals of the day but also a small choice of meals. The food is typical Portuguese, do not expect pizza and burgers. The food is amazing, we ordered two T bones, one Pork grill and the fourth was mussels. All cooked to perfection, the steaks were enormous. Or bill for the four was 57€ including beer and wine. The only slight criticism is the lack of vegetables, but this seems to be the norm in Portugal. Great place to go................Enjoy“

The cocktails however were 5 star and worth going for on their own. Have at least one meal here per week, you won’t regret it.“

We ordered a hamburger and seafood casserole, which tasted good, but did not provide me with any special taste sensations that I was hoping for. The waiter who served us was not very nice and treated us with obvious reluctance and we left the place with great disgust and not very good memories“

The manager and staff are extremely professional but friendly and understanding. We had no hesitation in booking a second visit and would thoroughly recommend it. We loved the seafood.“

“Start with the friendliness of the staff, especially the lady who served us, you couldn't be nicer. Their recommendations and the brazed cod and sea bream were all delicious and for starters we ordered a wonderful garlic and cheese bread, but the apple pie was already incredible. I didn't know it was hot so I ordered it without ice cream but if you want to enjoy it to the fullest, order it with ice cream.

Starter: Garlic bread, tiger prawns, main course (potatoes on the side), sole fillets, accompanied by a complete salad. Quite pleasant, super tasty. “This place is underrated. The quality of the food, along with the price-to-service ratio, is excellent! It’s busy, the food is fresh, and the cooks know what they’re doing.

Be sure to put your name down since they don’t accept reservations; it’s worth the wait. It’s a low-key spot with great food. The chicken and sea bass were particularly delicious, and you can taste the difference from cooking on charcoal.

I always check Google reviews before visiting a place. I saw some concerning comments about a red-haired lady, but after observing her while waiting for our table, I felt compelled to share my experience. This place is very busy, and she works hard to serve customers. She might not be the friendliest, but she’s not rude. In fact, she’s quite sweet if you show respect for her efforts. “Wonderful beach spot. Beach front with extra fresh fish. All local and cooked to perfection. Our writer Pablo gave us such an amazing service (friendly, quick and professional) always checking on us, but not “bumping into us” ;). You shouldn’t miss the clams. Best I ever tried besides in O Grove, Galicia.

“We discovered this restaurant by chance, we liked its decoration and cleanliness (having found bars all over the Algarve) and its menu (finally varied food different from tourist menus even in hotels). When we were served we loved the treatment of the staff and the quality of the food, the flambéed chorizo, the sardines, the sea bream and the exceptional shrimp.
The owner, Isabel, provides all the vegetables from her organic garden.
We repeat the entire stay and we leave with the regret of not being able to return more often“

Fascinating watching them prepare the fish with skill before cooking. The covert bread was warm & fresh, nice butter & a selection of items you could choose & pay for the items you selected. Salads to accompany were fresh & plentiful. One of our party who does not eat fish had a steak it was well presented. Lovely view of the boats & harbour & people going by. Good fresh fish counter inside & plenty of ice on the fish. Definitely we will go back next time we are in the area & try more of their menu“

“The location is very good, and the people are very friendly. The food is ok. We went with the grilled fish as it seemed logical to do so on a fishing island... It was ok. Not great but well presented and nice vegetables. The white wine from one of the other islands (Pico) has some fame so we decided to try. Nice and fresh it was a pleasant surprise. Dessert was a third choice as the first 2 attempts were sold out but not signalled as such in the menu. A bit disappointing... Overall it was an ok experience with a nice view.“
