Lovely Italian with rooftop seating. I have coeliac disease, and all the waiters were very knowledgeable and assured me that the gluten free pizzas were cooked separately. Gluten free pasta was also an option and there would have been plenty of meat and fish dishes that were fine too. Huge variety of pizzas, and the gluten free pizza was the same size and one of the best doughs I've had in a while.

I called to ask the time and whether I needed to reserve a table for 10 people. A foreign person answered, unfriendly, didn't understand our language well and arrogant. Halfway through the phone call, he hung up the phone. I do not recommend this house.

Wonderful restaurant, the owner Mr. Alvino is one of the friendliest and most welcoming people I have ever met in my life. The employees are also in good humor and welcoming. Not to mention the pizza, which is the best Italian pizza I've ever eaten. Thank you very much Mr. Alvino!

Alvor is another authentic, lovely town near Portimao. No mass tourism and many nice restaurants and cafes. Of course there are also several Italian restaurants, with Pizzeria D'Alvino being a positive outlier. Nice and enthusiastic owner and friendly staff who create an atmosphere. Food is delicious and democratic prices. Highly recommended among all the more touristy other restaurants. Make a reservation. Topper.
