Have visited several times over the years, and will continue to visit when on holiday in the area again. 4 stars as lamb chops just very slightly overdone. Delicious potato and vegetable dishes, still giving complementary after dinner shot of port. Staff lovely, cheery and attentive.

6 of us had a lovely evening meal at this restaurant in very late December. The waiter could not have been more accommodating, advising on menu choices and accompanying wine. Indeed, opened a bottle of green wine for us to sample even if were not to put taste. Complimentary wine on arrival at the restaurant, and good quality food. All 6 of us, very impressed with the restaurant all around. Very much recommended if you are in the area.

We had the pork and fish special and found both delicious, while the portions were huge. Our server, Volodymyr, was incredibly friendly and attentive and created a convivial atmosphere in the restaurant. All in all, this was one of the better overall dining experiences we had while in the Algarve.

This is quite a small restaurant so it pays to make a reservation. And it is well worth taking the time to do so... it is a cosy little restaurant with some excellent food and friendly service. The 'specials of the day' offer some particularly good choices and are served with a great selection of perfectly cooked vegetables.

What a discovery...Most amazing top quality fresh food cooked to perfection. Large Portions and very reasonable. The two Waiters were excellent. This restaurant was so wonderful we went 2 nights of our stay in Alvor. We highly recommend Salsa.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our meal there. We came because of the good reviews and were looking forward to a nice evening.The starter was pretty carelessly prepared and didn't taste particularly good. Unfortunately the steak we got was more like the sole of a shoe. The sauce that came with it tasted like a ready-made sauce and was also cold. The side dishes were plentiful, but unfortunately not seasoned at all. Unfortunately, I didn't tolerate the food well either. We paid over €70 for the evening there for the two of us and were quite annoyed about it later.The ambience and service, however, were very pleasant.

My Wife, Daughter, her Husband and our Grandson went to this superb Restaurant on Saturday 12/8 23 and Monday 14/8/23. There is always a very warm welcome there and service and food is excellent. We had Steaks, Roast Duck with French fries, and all the vegetables and trimmings. We have been coming here for nearly a decade and it is always first class. Thank you for the lovely food and making us so welcome.

A hidden gem in Alvor. A small restaurant with excellent food and service. Had the specials of the day the mussels were so delicate and perfectly cooked and the pork special was beautifully cooked. The staff here are so attentive and friendly and the food is always beautifully cooked and a very reasonable price. Slightly off the main strip but always busy. Keep up the good work.
