The menu had surprisingly original and elaborate dishes along with simple pool bar classics like pizza and sandwiches. On a hot day, we opted for a variety of cold and hot starters and desserts instead of main meals. The watermelon salad was an absolute highlight, thanks to its surprising texture and savory/salty contrast. I also recommend going upstairs and visiting the beautiful Chef's garden, where apparently all the ingredients of our meal were grown.“

“During our vacation we spent two evenings at Calheta Green. The restaurant is beautifully located - with a view of the sea and quiet, green surroundings. The food was very fresh and tasty. The grill is visible to all guests. The restaurant also offers a bar.
We were particularly impressed by the service of our waiter Igor. We could always trust his recommendations regarding food and drinks. His very friendly and, above all, attentive way of working stands out clearly from other locations on Madeira. After our first visit, his service persuaded us to spend our last evening in Madeira in this restaurant.

Wat ons opviel was dat het restaurant enorm leuk was aangekleed en ook het personeel was leuk in stijl gekleed. Wij werden bediend door een hele aardige jongeman die steeds kwam checken of alles naar wens was, Top service!

Dan over het menu, er staat enorm veel lekkers op de menukaart. Wij zijn zelf voor de Pizza burger en de Obelisco burger gegaan. Beide burgers waren enorm lekker en goed qua portie grootte.
