The restaurant is located on a small side street in Arcos de Valdevez. You can park very easily nearby. There are tables indoors and outdoors. The food is very typical of the region with a focus on meat dishes. What impressed me very positively is the service. I came alone and quite late for lunch on a Sunday. On Sundays, restaurants in Portugal are very busy at this time. Quite a few send customers away at the end. But I received a very warm welcome and very friendly service. But you should definitely make a reservation, especially for groups.

We ordered a cheese seasoned with herbs that was simply divine and half a dose of cachena, enough for two people (who don't eat much). Tender and tasty meat and very aromatic bean rice. The service was more than 5 stars, very attentive and friendly. A very pleasant experience.

Friendliness of the staff, always very concerned about everything. Amazing food, we ordered à la carte rather than the menu of the day and it was quick. We ordered posta cachena and pork cheeks. The steak came with fried bread and tarreste bean rice, divine. I highly recommend it, eat well, drink even better, normal price, average of €20 per person, and 5-star service.
