It is closed
After many kilometers we got there and it was closed.Closed because they only work by appointment, luckily for us the lady had a reserved table and kindly opened the doors of her house to serve us an incredibly delicious Portuguese stew. When I said that he opened the doors of his house, that's exactly what it sounds like, we are treated as guests and not as customers. Thanks for the hospitality and care.

The atmosphere at the regional cuisine restaurant casa do souto is also enchanting. The decor is warm, with regional touches that give it an authentic feel. Accompanied by soft ambient music, create a relaxing and cozy atmosphere.

A restaurant on the Tascas do Alto Tâmega route, which we discovered near Vidago. Very nice to accept us on a night when there was already a group dinner that took up almost all the space. A cold night for dinner by the fireplace, a fixed menu of rice and sausages, rooster and a table of homemade desserts: french toast, jams with cheese, pudding, vermicelli, etc. Excellent starters, family service, tasty comfort food with that unique Trás-os-Montes touch. Already known difficulty in payment: no ATM, almost no network, no system... but everything was resolved.

I can't find the words to say how wonderful my dinner at this restaurant was. I was there with a tour group (13 total), and it happened to be my birthday. The family who owns the restaurant did all the serving and cooking (with 2 helpers). Everything was served family style, and the dishes were so incredibly fresh and flavorful. The cook just beamed with happiness when we told her how much we enjoyed the food. After dinner, they had a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to me in Portuguese. It was such a special evening. Afterwards, the family showed us the grapes they had just harvested, and tried to explain their winemaking process (although the language barrier was a challenge). I just can't say enough good things about this restaurant - it was a major highlight of our entire trip to Portugal.
Excellent Trás-os-Montes feijoada!D. Eufrasia, welcomes you well and cooks even better.
Great place.
Very good space, with homemade food. One of the best restaurants I've been to. The owners are friendly. Top!
Good food, homemade.I found it expensive (27.50) for one person in relation to what was served.
