Excellent restaurant, with excellent service and quality of food. Despite always having a lot of customers, the waiting time is quite acceptable. The vegetable crepes are spectacular, containing lots of vegetables and the dough is not greasy and cloying as is the case in other restaurants. They have an excellent quality/price ratio, with the option of menus with a variety of dishes. I hope they maintain these standards because Armação de Pêra needs a Chinese food restaurant like this. Congratulations!!

More than 10 years later and while passing through Armacao de Pêra, we returned to the Chinese restaurant that we loved so much in my childhood!! Staff always friendly and polite. Nice food at a good value. I ordered a crepe as a starter, a drink, a main course with a side dish and a coffee, the cost is around €10-15 per person and they are well served.

"No milk"
"Are you sure, anythin.."
"No milk"
"Perhaps you should check with the cook"
"Ok". Doesn't check anything.
From eating in other chinese restaurants in the area, I know what to look out for, so when the dishes are arriving I keep asking.
On one I eventually manage to say, before the waiter runs off again, cutting me off "butter". Now that rings a bell. Yes it has butter. Is it soy butter? Is it regular butter? It's butter, I am told.
And then she manages to say "You said milk, not butter" and go away
"Milk, derivatives, lactose" "It's serious" "Hospital" "At least check with the cook"
Staff could not care less. They had a good amount of movement, but there is a busy restaurant, which anyone can understand service will be different, and there is being treated like crap and almost sent to the hospital by sheer carelessness.
There are many other Chinese restaurants around in this area. I've tried several of them, and can confidently recommend any of them over this one. To be honest, the food is generally cheaper and of better quality. But it's the service in this one that'll make me not only step foot there again but also leave the warning for anyone else that might.
(btw, whole conversation with the waiter was in Portuguese, I just write here in English so anyone can read. Who knows if it's better to speak in PT or ENG to be better understood by the staff. I don't think it was a language problem, but one of not caring the slightest)

Delicious Chinese food, fast service and good food despite the crowds. There is dust and cobwebs inside, so cleaning it a little better would make it absolutely great. But the quality of the food and service is good and that's the most important thing.

I ordered prawns with ginger and garlic and then I got food poisoning. After this experience I will never eat here again. After-day recession: It's a cheeky answer they give! From 7/8-9/7 I vomited all night and the next day I had a fever all day. They may make the food hot, it doesn't change the fact that I had food poisoning. This space is intended as feedback - so accept it and make the best of it.
