For me, it's the café of my childhood, where I would go when I was at my grandparents' house. The employees, the boss and family all knew me. It was where the best pies in the world were eaten, where "Totobola" was played, at the time it was all there was or little else. Now it continues to be a typical coffee from Arraiolos, Alentejo and Portugal. May there continue to be places like this, typically Portuguese, for now with many local patrons.

I went to the arraiolos carpet party, we really liked the tomato crumbs with feathers. Menu €11. Very tasty food. We stayed on the terrace, the service took a little while but the food made up for it.

Stopped for some lunch during our stay in this tiny town. Although they were not serving lunch, they offered a delicious toast with cheese and tomato, chicken pastry, beer and we had some ice cream and an expresso- everything for $10 euros. Service was nice, food was good, and atmosphere extremely local. Loved it!
