“Pleasant and unusual surprise. I stopped for lunch on a work day. The restaurant was full and I decided to leave, but the owner surprised me with a "pst where are you going..." and promptly found us a table and served without delay. Very good black pork cheeks, not very fatty, well prepared and at a fair price. I recommend it and will definitely return.“

“The restaurant has new owners and has reopened at the end of March 2024. What an improvement! Friendly & enthusiastic people, the food is delicious and really better than it was under the previous owners. Large portions (we think?) so go there with an empty stomach ;) The location is of course beautiful! Beautiful decor and the view is fantastic! Definitely go for this rediscovery!“

For starters we ate a beautiful sheep's cheese from Rio de Moinho and olives, for the main course we had oven-roasted lamb with crumbled lettuce salad, and for dessert walnut cake and egg pudding.
Good preparation, tender, tasty meat, well seasoned, good wine, excellent service with a very personal touch, at the end they offer a glass of pennyroyal to all customers.

“One of the best dinners I have enjoyed on 3rd trip to Lagos. This is a jewel. Think of an old fashioned steakhouse where you expect to see Frank Sinatra seated in a corner table.The wine selection is extensive. You can purchase a reasonably priced bottle or a very expensive bottle. Antonio is one of the most knowledgeable sommelier’s I have met. We drank a 1966 bottle and he expertly opened it and decanted it. The wine was a perfect match for our meal.The rack of lamb is so flavorful. It has mint mixed in the seasoning but not overpowering. The steak filet is prepared table side and an experience not to be missed. The filet is served with a mushroom wine sauce- you will ask for a second piece of bread to soak up the sauce.Dessert was crepes prepared table side.Overall, an amazing experience. Great food and great service.“
