“My husband and I went to open the new pizzeria here in Camacha and we loved it. We already had good feedback about the restaurant but it is really welcoming, the staff are very attentive and friendly, the food is excellent and the prices are affordable, so it is really worth visiting Restaurante Casa Nostra! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Ponchinhas with slightly spicy fried corn... Plus the wings/ shell... EPA.... Five qualities of poncha... Fire... But the beer on top of the cake is the girl who makes the poncha, makes the corn fries the fanquinho.. and still manages to be a public relations person that makes many people jealous.. because she is both beautiful and humble, she smiles at the poor as well as at the poor.. congratulations on her, it's worth it. Worth visiting!!! The soul of the business!”

“What a nice place at which to arrive after a levada walk. We came here and I had a beer and chatted with elbow walkers. Drinks were well priced and the service was friendly.”

“A gastronomic place different from the usual ones, where sophistication does not prevail, but rather gastronomic simplicity of good cuisine with traditional dishes, served with professionalism. To all this, there is the hiking to get there! On the way there you gain an appetite and on the way back you burn calories. As for the rest, the landscapes and nature paint the picture of a different family lunch than usual!I recommend !”
“I had read good and bad recommendations about this place, but I preferred to judge it for myself and I was pleasantly surprised. It was quite quiet when we arrived, the decoration was simple and pretty until I saw a piece of furniture with many sets of coffee cups that surprised me. The service was calm and serious, the truth is that the waitress cannot be said to be the life of the party but who knows how many years she has been putting up with people, I have to say that she was kind and correct. The food was very good, the menu is not very extensive but they have some typical dishes and the price is very good.
I have to say that the bolo do caco is the best I have ever tried and I have a few.”
“A genuinely incredible dining experience.
Chef Robert has done something very special here. The combination of ingenuity of recipes, local produce and flawless presentation lived up to the expectations and beyond.
The service was also exquisite.
A must see if you're a culinary fan and in Madeira!”

“X5 vegetarian options. Great food. Nice staff. Great value”
“We had a nice evening but was slightly under par for what is expected. It's hard not to compare with Il Gallo d'oro, which is close by and performs on a clearly higher level and casts a long shadow.”

“Poncha one of the best we tried in Madeira! All flavors are delicious, except English tomato (I do not recommend this one). It's a small place on the corner, crowded, so it's hard to get a table in the evening, but you can take a drink in a paper cup to go. Affordable prices, great taste!”

“Excellent food, friendly service (4 stars as they were short handed, so a bit slow) fun atmosphere- close to where we were staying, but off the beaten path….so had to look for it, which was fun. Appeared to be popular with both locals & tourists. mojitos were soo good. We both had the pulled pork - will try the chicken next time! Highly recommend”

“Everything was amazing! Our table for six was ready, waitress on the second floor was so attentive and careful. The table was always clean, the food was served as it should be.”

“It is a place to drink craft beers, which has little more than three dishes (quesadillas, tacos and burritos) if you want to have dinner, but they are amazing and are more than enough (without accompaniments that in the end you always end up leaving, such as potatoes or salad).
Very quiet atmosphere at 8pm, although I suppose it goes on for days. It is a sports bar type place, so it is not for families with children, we did go with two teenagers.
I will repeat for sure before I leave.
Wheelchair accessibility: It communicates with two streets, the lower one suitable for wheelchair access, the dining room is on that level.”

“Half of the options on the vegetarian a la carte menu can be made vegan. None of the desserts can be made vegan however they kindly whipped us up a chocolate mousse with red fruits, it was delicious. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Food is on the pricey side and has an upmarket feel. Beautiful view out to sea.”

“What sets Indian Palace apart from other Indian restaurants is that you get free crusty Indian bread with dips. +++++
The service is courteous and attentive, but not intrusive! +++++
We tested the vegetarian dishes and were pleasantly surprised by the large selection and taste. The prices in comparison to other Indian restaurants in Funchal are quite cheap. I think the quality is great. +++++
Definitely recommended!
Vegetarian options: The paneer cheese is made fresh every day. This is nice and soft and aromatic!
In my opinion, the aroma of the masala sauce is the best compared to other Indian restaurants!”

“We took a break here while exploring Madeira. The Bar / Restaurant popped up at my Google maps and it was worth stopping by! Beautifully located in nature, modern Ambiente and good food & drinks! I had the vegetarian burger you see on the picture and it was delicious! From coffee to cocktails, from snacks to a full on menu - everyone will be pleased!”

“What a wonderful spot in Funchal! Went back several times to enjoy the tastiest cocktails in a cozy narrow street full of restaurants. The choice is huge and the cocktails are delicious! Live music in the evenings. Service is great!”

“We are so happy to have discovered this location near us (outside the city center). Simply fantastic. Super tasty, fresh food (e.g. spaghetti Bolognese and penne). Great prices and nice location. I think the positive reviews speak for themselves. We'll definitely come by again.”

“We were advised at A Traineira (Caniço de Baixo) and we are completely satisfied.
The bolo do caco at the beginning fresh from the wood-fired oven together with our traditional Poncha was divine. Then the picanha accompanied by 2 risottos (onion, beans and chorizo) was the highlight. We ordered it rare to our liking and it arrived that way. Then, at the end, the mousse clearly made in-house with hazelnuts on top was perfect, not to mention the always attentive service. I highly recommend it!”

“Wonderful restaurant with local food. The restaurant is ran by a family. We met owners who started this small business in 1994, 30 years ago. Food was awesome and smile on the owners' face was authentic when we entered the place. Outstandind service done by true people of Madeira. Thanks a lot!”
