“Spectacular restaurant in the beautiful Portuguese town of Caminha. The best cod I have ever tasted, washed down with a local wine, spectacular. The owner's attention is exquisite. Very close to perfection.”

“Cozy place with very nice background music. Excellent treatment by the owner, very friendly and professional. We ordered rice with lubricant and ribeye, as recommended and it was a success, just like the wine.We were a bit heavy with the point of meat and he did not lose his smile for a moment. The homemade desserts are incredible. The tiramisu was ten.I would go back without a doubt.”

“We booked a table outside on the terrace for our family of 4. We had been here before several years earlier & pleased to se the quality remains high. Really nice service - we were recommended to take some smaller dishes & actually a cheaper wine than we finally opted for - so not over sold. we loved the clams, loved the lobster & other dishes we also shared. A lovely place worth a visit in the main area.
Kid-friendliness: went with our daughters & all good.”

“I comment on this from my personal experience of eating there several times. The restaurant is family-run, the service is good, very friendly, generally fast and optimal attention. The food is good, medium price, good quality and preparation. The entries are well prepared and presented. The menu has few options (which is not a bad thing, it is better to have few and good ones than not too many and not be made fresh as is the case in many cities), there is a fish option depending on the market, and some meat. Personally, I have tried goat and it is good (43 euros, 2 people), the desserts are very good (about 6 euros approx). It only has a couple of tables on the terrace, perhaps that discourages many tourists who prefer the nearby central square with several terraces to eat, however if you are looking for something authentic and more traditional, try it. A surprising detail is the bathrooms: very careful, impeccable, with several details... more typical of a very superior restaurant, and I mention this because I have eaten in numerous restaurants throughout the country and I know what I'm talking about, there are restaurants with a lot of fame and popularity but not in its bathrooms. That detail to me says a lot about customer care. On weekends it may be advisable to book, on weekdays it is usually no problem.
Kid-friendliness: As far as I know there are no restrictions with children or families.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible as it is on the ground floor at street level.”

“Very good restaurant, with excellent dishes, they serve an exquisite baked cod, with very good preparation and presentation, as well as the rest of the meat dishes and their accompaniments that they have on their menu, in addition to their desserts, the homemade ones are highly recommended, in special the house dessert. The attention to the tables by their staff is highly professional, they stand out for their good attention and speed. As for the price, it is acceptable in terms of quality-price ratio.”
“We came here spontaneously to grab some drinks. After some communication hurdles we managed to get our order across and overall waited for about 15 min from sitting down to having our drinks served.(And yess we were german pilgrims, I really don't know where this nationality thing, everyone in the reviews writes about, is coming from since there was no different treatment for us.)We didn't have any food so I can't leave a statement on that. The prices were actually pretty low (at least for the rather simple drinks)Overall a pleasant experience in a very nice surrounding!
Parking: You shouldn't come by car. Since there is a limited amount of street parking spaces available, they'll probably all be taken.
Wheelchair accessibility: barrier-free access to the outside tables(but a few steps leading inside)”

“Cafe in the middle of the main square. Very good prices for location. Surprising pastel de nata unexpected for the place for not dedicating itself to providing meals.”

“I have tried my Portugese tarts in Portugal but the tarts here are one of the top two best places in my opinions
The Pastel de Nata pastry was fresh and flaky and crispy, the filling was light, soft and also creamy, not too sweet like some other places. I ate one there and took one away to eat on the Camino and the pastry stayed crispy till later in the day. Coffee was divine
I was soo happy that I came by”

“Good snacks, very good francesinha, also served with a very fresh champarrião to help with the food and a chiripiti to help with digestion. Overall, good service, fast service even when the house is full and prices are average.
Parking: Plenty of places nearby.”
“Perfect place to watch the sunset. Chill out music with a jazz and bossanova base, beanbags and beers for €1, as well as mojitos, etc... It can be equaled but not improved.”

“Located in the historic center, in a very busy place, it has a terrace in the middle of the street and a large annex space in front of the main store (prepaid service).
It has a wide variety of dry sweets, biscuits, traditional pastries and savory cakes - be careful with the spicy samosas (they are really spicy, but they have a non-spicy option).
There is also a variety of snacks (fast food, sandwiches), with emphasis on prego na bread: it is served on a huge rustic loaf, including omelet, cheese, ham, tomato, bacon and lettuce. It’s perfect for sharing, as it’s very generous.
Quite fast service.
It's worth trying.”

“Still my fav place in Vila Praia de Âncora for vegan options. There are plenty and the prices are fair. We always have experienced a very good service and good food.
I don't know what the actual reason is but I like that you stick to the concept and offer so many vegan dishes besides the meat options. Thank you!
Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan options <3”
