“La tasca par excellence. Une cuisine simplissime au carvão. Des produits de qualité, un service efficace, un écran de télévision omniprésent, un décor qui n’en a que le nom et des prix très abordables. La tasca rassemble toutes les catégories sociales, toutes les générations et tous les ventres. Réservation de rigueur. Fatima au service, Manel aux fourneaux. Respect.“

“We went to this restaurant because it was recommended. We liked it, but it wasn't spectacular. We ate seafood rice, which was very tasty but more like mussel rice, because it was the most. Some prawns (very good quality!) And almost no crab. The seafood cream was very good.“

“Our last dinner in Caminho - ended very well. We ate outside on one of the small tables. The menu is small but we tried most of it to share amongst our family. We loved it all - very well prepared & presented. Service was very friendly although perhaps slightly slow - however this is a place to relax & enjoy“

“We booked a table outside on the terrace for our family of 4. We had been here before several years earlier & pleased to se the quality remains high. Really nice service - we were recommended to take some smaller dishes & actually a cheaper wine than we finally opted for - so not over sold. we loved the clams, loved the lobster & other dishes we also shared. A lovely place worth a visit in the main area.
Kid-friendliness: went with our daughters & all good.“

“Good place to eat delicious Italian food, with a relaxed and cool atmosphere for summer days, since it is a stone house with air conditioning.
Good service, with that extra bit of education that makes a restaurant a unique place and above all that tranquility that exists within an area as busy as the surrounding streets and square.
I will be back.
Vegetarian options: Yes there is that option.
Dietary restrictions: It puts it in the letter that is stated when ordering.
Kid-friendliness: Children are accepted without problem, I took a 6 year old and a 4 year old.“

“This is a wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy Portuguese cuisine while overlooking the sea. The owner was always paying attention to every corner of the store, and I could feel his love for the store. Especially the seafood risotto was extremely delicious. I was alone, but they made me a half portion without complaining. All the employees were friendly and professional. The shop is full of Portuguese people. I visited on a pilgrimage to Santiago, but I highly recommend you check it out ???“

“It had been on the list for almost a year. Today was the day. We will return to try the remaining specialties. Easy access location, good atmosphere, interesting decor, diverse menu, high quality dishes. For all this, I repeat that we will return.

“We went to eat, we sat on the outside terrace and although it was hot, the food was very good there. It is covered with several umbrellas. It has a huge kitchen and a piece oven that you can see on the way to the bathroom and the interior living room. The food is very delicious, well presented, with style and with great taste. Dishes with a haute cuisine restaurant presentation at affordable prices. It's amazing to say that it is a delicious meal of sufficient quality and quantity. I will definitely repeat as much as possible, I was looking forward to trying a pizza.
Dietary restrictions: They have no problems, just let them know and everything is ready.
Parking: You have to find a place in the area but it is not complicated either.
Kid-friendliness: Yeah. Problem in indoor and outdoor dining we had a lot of families with their children.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no architectural barriers, the entire premises are on the ground floor.“

“The food, the service, the hospitality is fantastic. We have eaten here each time we come to Covas. The son of the owner (forgot to ask him his name) is a real patron of the restaurant, attentive, speaks fantastic English which puts our attempt at Portuguese to shame.“

“A friendly place with 3 vegan options: hamburger, feijoada and breaded bread.I ordered the feijoada and it was delicious. It was vegetable feijoada and vegan sausage, it was well seasoned and the flavors combined well. For starters, I ordered potatoes bravas (the bravas sauce is vegan) and they were crispy and tasty. My companion ordered picanha and was also very satisfied. I recommend

“Delicious food! We ordered the portion that serves 2 people of cod with cornbread, and it would easily serve 3, there was plenty left over. We paid €33 for cod with bread (for 2), €33 for roast cod (for 2) and €12 for fish (for 1).
Points to improve: The internal environment is quite noisy near the kitchen window, and meals took a long time, but we went on Sunday and the restaurant was very full.“

“Very pleasant experience. The staff of 10, professionals who make the difference: they make a simple place a place to recommend to everyone who goes to the area. Ease of handling our reservation, fast and friendly service, details with the children when we leave. The delicious food, simple but well prepared: mussels, chicken, secret, cod and swordfish, homemade desserts, delicious wine. And the price is great. Thanks to all the team who make it possible
Kid-friendliness: Good place to go with children, super friendly.“

“Four of us stopped in for a drink while we waited for another restaurant to open. While we had our wine we ordered an appetizer which turned out to be so delicious (and large!) we stayed for dinner. The food was excellent, as was the wine the manager recommended, and the price very reasonable. It was a most pleasant surprise and highly recommended!“

“Now it is called foral Dom dinis
There was a wait because it was Saturday but it was worth it because everything was very delicious.
The delicious chocolate mouse, seafood rice with broth, the super tender beef, the very good desserts. I would repeat if I returned to this place.“
“Nine kilometers into our Camino trek, we stumbled upon a welcome sight: Areia Cozinha na Praia. Exhausted but optimistic, we bellied up to the table.
The Sopa de Peixe e Camarao, a delectable hearty fish and shrimp stew, warmed my friends from the inside out. I savored the Creme de Ervilhas e Chourixo, a pea and chorizo cream soup, that was equally comforting.
It was the most high-falutin soup/meal and exactly what our weary legs craved. Refueled and spirits high, we were ready to tackle the next leg of our Camino adventure.“

“I was recommended by a friend in the area and it honestly did not meet the expectations with which I went.Local with traditional and seafaring aesthetics.Wide variety of Fish and Seafood.Attentive and very professional staff. We ordered a Soup (excellent *****) and Grilled Fish (dry and cold **).Maybe it wasn't the right day to order that type of dish.80% of the diners who were in his establishment were tasting some volandeiras and sea bass.“

“Very good Italian style place in Caminha. The quality of the food is very good.
They are very well organized. I went in the summer and there were 12 people attending and each one with a clear function.
The pizzas are individual size. The wait, once the food is ordered, is approximately 20 minutes.
You can reserve a table from Google. It is recommended since it is always full. If you leave without a reservation, they have a waiting area and people pass by as the tables become available.
It is located in the main square of Caminha. The best place to park (less than 5 minutes away) is in the squares near where the Caminha firefighters are. There is a lot of room there.
Parking: The place is in a square where there is nowhere to park. However, two streets down (near the Caminha fire department) there are two esplanades where you can park for free.“
