The lemon poncha is one of the best and the garlic bread accompanies it deliciously for a very local aperitif. I let myself be tempted by the squid and shrimp skewer accompanied by grilled sweet potatoes. It was divine but so filling that I couldn't finish my plate. My companion had the pork ribs and he enjoyed it. They were both tender and generous. We didn't have room for dessert. With regret because those of our table neighbors were magnificent“

“I visited Mundo Vegan – Vegan World together with my girlfriend, and we had a truly wonderful experience. Right when we entered, we noticed the pleasant atmosphere ~ calm, warm, and accompanied by relaxing music in the background. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome. We really appreciate that the restaurant is entirely vegan. We chose the Umami Burger with mushroom, beans and herbs as well as a special lemonade. Since we already know the Beyond Meat patty, we wanted to try the mushroom patty this time ~ and it was a very good choice: fresh, flavorful, and pleasantly light. The lemonade was freshly prepared, which you could taste right away: refreshing, natural, and not too sweet. We found it particularly thoughtful that we briefly mentioned to the waitress that we would like to share the burger ~ and to our surprise, it arrived already cut in half at our table. < 3 Because we enjoyed the food so much, we treated ourselves to dessert: the chocolate cookie and a scoop of mango ice cream. “Very tasty homemade food, amazing service, lots of locals who eat here. Very affordable. It’s a kanteen with good food, you can choose between meat and fish plate. Plates are big and tasty. The service is fabulous, the lady saw us struggling a bit with our hungry and grumpy toddler and asked what can she eat outside of menu. In the end our daughter ate very tasty sandwich that wasn’t on the menu and as well her fish plate. Desserts are really nice as well. So much better than a street away with all the tourist places.“

A few streets further on, we found what we were looking for in the Restaurante Casa da Sogra, which was not only within walking distance, but also very positive in every respect: owner-run family restaurant (the owner's parents are the chefs) with an unusually nice approach both from the senior personally and from the service (the owner's daughter actively works there). “Our lunch at the Lavrador São Vicente restaurant was a real highlight of our stay in São Vicente. We tried the grilled mussels and the fish of the day (sea bass) and were amazed by the quality and taste of the food. The mussels were grilled to perfection and the sea bass was fresh and superbly prepared.

The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Despite the high quality of the dishes, the prices are more than fair, making this restaurant a must for anyone in São Vicente. The service is also particularly noteworthy: the service was extremely nice and made us feel very welcome.

“Everything is top here. The service is one of the best among all the Michelin restaurants I’ve been to so far and the price is very reasonable. The chef was super generous with the truffle and the girl working there was like sunshine. She’s very attentive and we had some really interesting conversation about our dogs! The food is nicely presented and the combination of texture and color is extraordinary. We had the signature menu and loved it. If you are lactose intolerance, the alternatives are also very good. Everything is just above expectation and definitely worth the price you pay.
