Correct but closes too early!
Had the bread soup and found it very tasty, the chicken breast on the hot stone was also delicious, the polenta served with it was very light and well seasoned.
The cod for my wife was fresh but not very seasoned.
The portions were reasonable.
The service friendly.
The espresso ok.
I think 50 EUR is cheap for what is on offer.
The final poncha is a punch in the stomach. A pirate drink, the waitress explained to me. Well, I wouldn't have become one and would have...read full review
The place does not attract any attention but the food was very good, abundant, delicious, very well priced and very fast in serving us. The bad thing, which totally ruined our food, was the large number of flies there were. We decided to eat on the terrace because we saw a lot inside and it was almost worse, the amount of people hovering around the food and between us was impressive, very unpleasant.
If it weren't for this we would surely return. A shame.

Restaurante A Lareira, recommended in the Pascal guide, offers high standard food at surprisingly low prices. The local cuisine, including lapas and bolo do caco with butter, is worth trying. The stone tuna fillet and apple crumble with vanilla ice cream are highly recommended. The place is known for its friendly and professional staff, creating a cozy atmosphere that adds value to the experience. Guests often enjoy dishes served on hot stones, which provide a memorable dining experience. The portions are reasonable, and the food is generally abundant, delicious, and well priced. Homemade fries and tasty vegetarian options like risotto are also available. However, visitors should be aware that the terrace can attract flies, and the presence of many people hovering around the food can be unpleasant. Despite this, the restaurant remains a good choice for quality local food in a friendly environment.
