“Sintra is rammed with tourists - even in October when we visited. Villa Craft Beer and Bread was like a sea of calm amidst the chaos. Just off the main street, we had a relaxed beer (my wife had Jasmin, I had Ginger) and delicious mini pizzas. Would definitely recommend. Updated from previous review on 2024-10-28“

“I thought it was expensive for what you ate!
The prego was tasty.
The service was… bad from the young woman who served us, as she had little desire to help, “collaborate” and was not very responsive… and good from the rest of the team, always concerned with customer satisfaction, including funny jokes.
I recommend it, but for a “Tavern” it is expensive!
Parking: With no parking available on the street, you will have to park and get around on foot.“

“Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Me and my friend ate here pretty much every night of our holiday, other than when it was closed. We’ve both eaten at plenty of nice restaurants around the world and this place tops both of our lists. Tomas and Francesco looked after us, they were both great guys who couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend the Steak in Champagne, Black Angus Beef, Mussels Bulhão Pato, Cream & Spinach, Prawns, Sautéed potatoes, Carpaccio & the Pata Negra Smoked Ham. We also tried lots of other dishes that were great. Make sure to book in advance as it gets busy. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the service and food.“

“This place is wonderful. On holiday in Sintra for a few days. Popped on because we'd missed the shop. Turns out they have amazing food and a huge range of drinks. Food was incredible - recommend the vegetarian burger (mushroom, sun-dried tomatoes, pepper, and a sauce that will do things to you ?) also, bloody lovely staff . Good gin and tonic too ?“

“I loved this place! The atmosphere is great, so many details in the decoration (including useful items like a spot to hang your purse on the side of the table).
There are also plenty of books (in Portuguese, of course)
Staff members are kind, friendly and accomodating, helpful at all times without being pushy.
Plenty of vegetarian options, and although they didn’t have vegan cheese, they did their best to accommodate my request and offered extra toppings to compensate for that!
Pizza was delicious, tomato sauce was very tasty and the portion was huge! Really good value for money.
Maracuja margaritas were tasty as well?
Definitely a highlight in my trip to Sintra! Thank you guys ?

“We came here because I needed a break from walking and I'm so glad we did! We had a chocolate crepe and 2 cups of beer sangria - one red and one white. I was skeptical about how beer would blend in a sangria but I absolutely loved it - it's one of the highlights of Sintra for me! I preferred it with the white wine, but both were great!“
“This is a really cute place. In a first glance it looks a bit dingy, and there was flies everywhere. But their garden is really cute, the food and cocktails really good(!!) and relatively cheap. So great value for money. We were there early evening on Sunday so it was very mellow but I assume that evenings with live music are really fun there.“

“One of those houses that knows how to serve as it used to. Just with the detail of not having to haggle over the salt and pepper shakers with the 'next door neighbor' I was won over. “I've been going to this restaurant since I was little and I love it. Mr. Fernando is a nice guy, just like his mother. The food is wonderful, from the main course to the desserts. It's a large space, great for birthday dinners and has very affordable prices.“

“A very cute place to drink beer..at night sometimes it's really blown up. And there's probably a good reason for that. There are lots of other bars and restaurants nearby as well.It is right in the center of the amazing city of Ericeira. So if you liked it, just stay. And if not, move on.“

“The food was very tasty and we were full. But it would be cool if there was cheese on the vegetarian burger too. Otherwise the waitress (young lady with brown hair) was really nice and the food was brought quickly. If you're waiting for the train, I can recommend stopping by there :) Price-performance ratio is great.

“Great restaurant located in Ericeira.
We were welcomed by Carlo with so much smile and happiness in the work he was doing.
The atmosphere was kind of warming and cute.
The food was so good, we ordered some sushi’s and dumplings. There are a lot of choices in the menu + Carlo was very patient with us and even recommended some dishes for us !

No rubbish burger Buns in here. All caco bread which is just amazing. Had thr garlic caco and bacara burger. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

“The gentleman that served us today was amazing. We only speak English but he was very fluent and we had a lovely time there. We went for a late lunch, I had mushroom risotto and my friends had the veggie pasta and the octopus with potatoes. We were all blown away by the tase and quality of the food. The prices are very reasonable and the terrace has a gorgeous view too. Couldn't fault this restaurant and would definitely go again if we're in the area.

“Basic cafe with a lovely view overlooking the beach. Food options are basic but orange juice is freshly pressed and the pastel de nata is great and staff is friendly. A nice spot to grab a coffee with a view. (note that the atmosphere rating is for the view rather than the interior decor :))“
