“Basic cafe with a lovely view overlooking the beach. Food options are basic but orange juice is freshly pressed and the pastel de nata is great and staff is friendly. A nice spot to grab a coffee with a view. (note that the atmosphere rating is for the view rather than the interior decor :))“

“It’s not often to find kind waiters, many of them of doing this job just to have a job, but our waiter which I unfortunately were not able to get the name was sooooo kind, attentive to details, like bringing 2 forks (one for me and one little one for my little boy), like bringing a spoon for my tonic water. He was often entertaining my little boy making him laugh by giving him high 5’s. You can see he has a passion for what he does and happy in life. I’m returning for sure and hope to be served by that friendly kind and welcoming face of our waiter ?“

“Although it is not the best known and recommended pastry shop for those visiting the center of Mafra, it is undoubtedly the best. It has one of the best delicacies we've ever eaten called "Mafarrico". The cornbreads are also very good, and the miniatures are also divine. The staff is super friendly.“
“A charming place that barely remains today. The people of the town were super friendly and approachable and the people who run the bar couldn't be more charming. The mixed toast is recommended, it is still a toast with cheese and ham, but it will not leave you indifferent.
A more than recommended place to visit and make a stop to have a good breakfast.“
“Had an awesome, extra toasty sandwich here. The location of where this is does seem rejected and definitely not the most inviting area, doesn’t help when theres chatty af portuguese dudes taking up the whole cafe with their voices. Still worth swinging by for the value of which ya get great sandwiches here.“

“I had the (arroz de pato) duck on rice dish and it was very good and the portion was fair enough for a lunch dose. Affordable price overall. Very friendly staff. A good quick stop place if you feel hungry on your way to the beach or when visiting Sintra.
Parking: Hard to park but you will manage something closeby... there are small secondary roads c3ossing thus one. Remember that this entrance is right on top to the main, so daily traffic is intense but not noisy.“
“It's all good, the muggles, the queijadas, the rissóis and the croquettes, as well as the varied delicacies that D. Rosário prepares and surprises her customers, such as the breads, the dreams, the pies ?, the cupcakes (I never eat the same ).
Dietary restrictions: There is not“

“(Comment in Portuguese and English)I visited this pastry shop many times when I lived in Mafra. What attracted me most about it was the friendliness of the owner! Every day he writes an inspirational quote on a board to lift his customers' spirits. He treats everyone in a welcoming way, tells stories and makes us feel like we belong. There are already few establishments where we feel like we are part of the family. The coffee is very good, the muffins and sandwiches too and the prices are fair. I love going to this cafe and highly recommend it.*************************I visited this coffee shop many times when I lived in Mafra. What attracted me most was the friendliness of the owner! “Slighly outside of the touristy areas, but right into the “artsy” district of SP, this is a place where you can eat and drink like a proper Paulista, amongst the locals! The whole restaurants is full of football memorabilia with many scarves from teams from all over the world… I think if your team is not there and you show up with a little banner or something, they will put it on the wall too! Food is amazing, you have to try the steak (advertised in the menu as the typical dish)“

The selection of cakes is amazing and my partner says the pastal de nata here are one of the best he's ever tasted. The staff are efficient and helpful. The coffee is good too. It's very popular with locals as well, which is always a good sign. Absolutely recommend!“

“We had coffee here in the morning in early May to get out of the rain before sightseeing. We came back late afternoon and shared some wine and the best piece of chocolate cake I have ever had. “I have to comment, even without any warning from customers or others, about the high level of hygiene. In the space of 5 minutes, the house, empty, filled up, and everything was served. Still, there was time to maintain and clean floors, countertops, and wash dishes. In one of these moments, while putting away dishes, I came across an employee, who, noticing a very small detail on a plate, put it back to wash. Afterwards, in a matter of seconds, the countertops are free and clean.
In small gestures, it replicates the general principles of the house.
I recommend“

“Cafe Búzios is way more than just a wonderful coffee shop and a restaurant, this place has a soul. It is simple, unique and authentic, in all the best ways. We were looking for a really good coffee and we found it here, but more importantly, we found Teresa and Pedro, some of the greatest people we have ever met. Spending time with them was a blessing, they made us feel like locals and treated us like friends. Stopping for a coffee, a drink, a meal, but especially a talk, became part of our daily routine and our favorite time of the day. We will never forget our conversations, the time we spent there and the memories we made. It is impossible to write a review to describe this place and encompass everything, it will inevitably be reductive. We simply wish Cafe Búzios were everywhere, all over the world, so if you can, just check it out ;)“
