“We stopped at this place today at 14:30pm. It is small and cute restaurant. It was full inside (only Portuguese people), but a table was available outside. I thought they would be closing the kitchen and maybe not accept us at that time, but they were very friendly and helpful. We had some entres - melon, farinheira and a bread from the oven, the main course we had the chicken and 2 delicious porc dishes, with migas, rice and salad. I ordered a 1/2 bottle of wine, a large bottle of water and a coke. We shared the desert ‘pao rala’ and we ordered the melon again. The food was delicious and tasteful. Simple and honest traditional food! my favorite was the fried porc… the 4 of was had enough to est and the bill was €68 in total. I would return to this place in the small village outside Elvas.“
“We had lunch here on a day tour from Funchal. We chose just the right time as there were a few tables free when we sat down but within 10 minutes it was full. I ordered a ham and cheese toasty which came with chips and was only €4.50! For the amount of food it was really quite cheap. We sat outside which was nice, but don't expect a nice view - it is next to a car park and on the main road. Service was good.“

“Restaurant located in one of the main streets of the village. Many restaurants competing with each other.
Very good food and very generous. Excellent white sangria
Order a little difficult in French. No French menu and staff not speaking it except the boss.
Negative point very noisy in the room. Difficult to get along sometimes. Sangria served in hot glasses straight from the dishwasher.
Free WiFi.“
