“Once again, we had an excellent meal and service at Visconde da Luz. We often bring visitors there, and to a person they are delighted by both the quality of the food, and the outstanding hospitality that the staff consistently brings to its guests. Their cataplana is magnificent, truly world class. I guarantee that you’ll want to return after having dined there once.“

“Very nice place if you can sit at the front of the wall and watch the waves. The café and food were delicious and the people who work there were also very nice. Great background music, live on the radio station. Definitely a better alternative than the surrounding cafes or fancy restaurants in the “

“I stayed locally & was un aware of this rare gem, food was awesome the owner and his staff were great, forget the high prices of central Cascais, you get a delicious meal at a reasonable price and a good wash down of affordable beer/wine /spirits Portuguese food at its finest, i will be visiting them again next month.“
“Em relação ao café em si gosto. O pior são certas pessoas de idade, que como nada têm que fazer, passam a vida no café, e depois à uma velhota que é do pior mete-se nas conversas das pessoas, na primeira vez em que ela se meteu comigo, levou com tudo, detesto este tipo de atitudes comigo quem procura acha sempre. Temos pena não me meto com ninguém, até pago para não me chatear mas quando vêm para o meu lado levam sempre a resposta.“
“Coffee where the locals coffee! So cheap, lovely coffee and nice wee pastry selection. Don't expect fireworks but the server was polite and we love sitting having a coffee in the morning watching the normal hustle and bustle of everyday life coming in and out. And this place is perfect for that.“

“My husband and I absolutely love everything about this pastelaria, from the delectable selections to the wonderful, incredibly kind, patient, and friendly people that run this business! We can’t say enough good things about our favorite spot to buy beads and pastries from in Cascais! We visit here a few times a week.“

“This place is a little pricey but worth it. Everything from our avocado toast to the orange juice to cappuccino to matcha was wonderful. Their brunch deal - Avocado toast, yogurt, and orange juice - is not a bad deal for €16.50. The coffee was a bit expensive with €1.50 for a single shot of espresso.“

“Not bad for this Cascais outpost of the French Classic Bakery.
Their strengths are in the baguette sandwiches and croissants, but their pastels have nothing on those at Pastéis De Belém. Nonetheless, a nice stop for a frothy coffee and afternoon treat“

“This place has a beautiful atmosphere. The owner really cares. It has been running for 13 years! The menu changes daily and is cooked with love. They have, what they call a visual menu. Such a lovely experience. When you arrive you are shown the food on a big table and a staff member explains what everything is and answers any questions. The food was delicious and home style. ❤️🙏“

“Incredibly delicious vegetarian burger! The service we received was excellent, very friendly and attentive staff. The food portions are very generous too, so be prepared to feast! If you are lucky, some of the tiny local birds will pay you a visit in the hope of catching a few crumbs.
Vegetarian options: A few different veggie options including wraps, burgers, toasted sandwiches and sides.“

“Great place for a bite and a drink by the beach, walking distance to boca de inferno. Friendly staff, different pastries and dishes available along with ice cream, drinks, even some souvenirs. Unfortunately no toilets available even if you consume something from them. And by being by the beach there’s no much options around..“
“We arrived at the door and were greeted by a young man washing the floor. He informed us that the restaurant would not be open for another 1/2 hour. We only had an hour to join our tour bus which was just around the corner. The manager came to greet us and asked if he could help us. We told him out predicament and he said he had an idea. He couldn't seat us in the dinning room where people would see us, but said follow me. We were escorted to a beautiful very private garden patio in the back of the restaurant where he sat us. He said I'll get a menu and go over each item with you and tell you how they are made. It was the best, most romantic dinners that we've ever shared. The best memory of our 14 day tour.“

“Pleasantly quiet place with a view over the dunes and the sea. In addition to the café, there are also cocktails and beer. The price is slightly higher than comparable other cafes. Popular with dog owners, water bowls are available for dogs. The parking space is shared with visitors to the dune hiking trail, so parking spaces can be tight.Anyone who uses the toilets has to be brave. In the afternoon/evening they look like they are at a motorway service station during the holiday season.
Parking: The parking lot can get full when there is a lot of activity on the dune hiking trail.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible from the parking lot.“

“Oakberry is always a good option for a healthy and quick lunch.
The location is not the best, I would suggest take-out and eat at or near the beach.
Vegetarian options: The whole place is vegetarian and nearly everything is vegan“

“One of many coffee shops in central Cascais... Service was wonderful. Order at the counter but they bring everything to you at your outdoor table. Really nice setting. I had scrambled eggs, a croissant with butter/jam, a pastel de nata, and a latte... all for $4 USD. I could do that everyday.“

“We found a charming dessert place in Cascais, the premier holiday destination along the Lisbon coastline. After walking around in the hot sun, we enjoyed some delicious gourmet ice cream to refresh ourselves. The shop also displayed a wide variety of chocolates and other sweet products. We plan to visit again and try more of their offerings the next time we're in this lovely city.“

“Trendy looks and location combined with interesting Eastern European items on the menu such as Syrniki and Draniki. With this name, coffee is great too, as well as other traditional breakfast or brunch items. An air conditioner would be nice on a hot day, but it is a minor thing“

“We tried the two dishes of the day for lunch and they were very delicious. Rice with seafood and fettuccine with salmon. Highly recommended. In addition to a bottle of green wine, which is always a good idea. All this with fantastic views of the beach.“

“highly highly highly recommended place for the dinner. we had spare ribs with rice and extra salad. it was sooooooo delicious, OMG
for dessert we shared a piece of cheesecake with a strawberry sauce on top. This cheesecake has a soft and creamy texture, with a light and airy consistency that melts in a mouth.“
