Restaurant that tries to sell Portuguese tradition that it does not have. Poor and average food (frozen potatoes) compared to other Portuguese restaurants. And the service is bad, quick to arrive but as soon as you step on the fork they come to take away the service. I do not recommend it.

Restaurant ideally located but it only has that going for it. We come to approach you in the street to let you in and we hurry to get you out without asking if you want a desert or a coffee, however we will drop you the bill without that you ask for it.

We ate very bad fish and seafood cataplana.
We were served by an Indian, nothing against it but he didn't understand any Portuguese which made the order difficult as he didn't know how to answer the questions. I don't recommend it.

It's hard for me to rate a place with so few stars, but today I really couldn't wait to get out of this place.

We arrived late at night and there was no room in other restaurants. I must begin by highlighting that only some waiters had the intention of serving us well. Others brought us food without even knowing what it was. The drink my friends ordered had no alcohol and was watered down by ice.

The octopus had black tentacles. The entrecôte came out dry and scarce. The picanha seemed to have been cut with a deli machine. The cod looked like leftovers stuffed on a plate. The swordfish had a rancid smell. Chanchi ate well.

I'm really sorry to post this comment, but I find it hard to believe that it is the best that this restaurant located in the historic center of Cascais can give. I sincerely hope that this review helps other visitors think twice before eating here.

I truly hope - and believe - to never eat so badly again in my life. Now what remains is to hope that I don't get poisoned by this fish.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! We went here thinking the meals would be fresh and delicious but they were all frozen food. I ordered the calamari and it really did not reach my expectations. Fries were undercooked as well. Everything looked colourless and not-so-delicious on my plate. Definitely do not recommend.

Portuguese food at correct quality-price. The Cod with Cream of very good execution, the grilled octopus of tender quality and with good flavor. Regular attention due to high influx of diners.

I recently visited this restaurant and my experience was far from satisfactory.

Upon arrival, we asked specifically if they had a certain type of fish. The staff assured us they did, but once we were seated and ready to order, we were informed that they did not have it in stock. This misleading information was disappointing and set a negative tone for the rest of our meal.

We decided to order the grilled fish as an alternative. Surprisingly, it arrived at our table very quickly, suggesting it had been pre-cooked and merely reheated. As expected, the fish was super dry and lacked any fresh flavor.

Adding to the poor experience, no one checked in on us during our meal to see how we were doing or if we needed anything.

Overall, a disappointing dining experience. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my visit.
