We arrived on the island at 4pm and all the restaurants were closed, but luckily Pastelaria Ideal was open and welcomed with open arms.

“I love the pizza here, it's always so good and hot, the downside is the space inside the pizzeria, small and cramped, it's almost all sauce and faith in God but I know it's always been like that, but for me if the food is good It's important!“

“Best meal we had in ilha do Faial. The alheira a bras is one of the best I ever had. The octopus was tender and, delicious. My parter was feeling sick otherwise he would have finished his dish. Generous portions and good value for money. Must try when in Faial.“
