Went there for a dessert after a disappointing dinner. Was worried ut would be another tourist trap due to the location, but I was welcomed by a smiley lady who did her best to explain to me the different options. My tart ( not a pasteis de nata) was excellent and I enjoyed the outdoor sitting area.
Let's start by saying that the service was excellent, only the score for the service went down because for some reason the first orders were forgotten for some reason and only the main ones arrived, the atmosphere was fine only a beggar kept coming to ask for money really unpleasant the food was excellent

Stopped in here on Sunday night at 9pm for a pastry and nightcap after a mediocre dinner at a tourist trap in one of the squares. Wonderful! Mostly locals enjoying the high quality pastries and meals. Nice atmosphere. Prices incredibly low compared to the touristy resto. Really friendly staff who took time to make sure we got we wanted, as I tried out my basic Portuguese. Same experience for takeaway coffee and pastries at 8 30 next day. Can’t understand the poor reviews - probably...
