The first time we went was because of the Google reviews, but we went again because we loved it.
One of my favorite new places in Coimbra! In addition to the wonderful wine cellar, which in itself was a reason to go there, the aged meat, fried potatoes and mushroom rice are my favorites in the city (so much so, that every time I go there I can't order anything else).

Fogo e Tradição is the place for steak and wine lovers. The staff is amazing, offering menus in Spanish and Portuguese. Enjoy the grilled Angus meat or the octopus, and don't miss the lemon tart for dessert. Celebrate with friends and family in this restaurant with excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. This fine restaurant has a good atmosphere, a wonderful wine cellar and a calm and welcoming environment. The meat is very good and came to perfection. Customers mention high quality product, perfect preparation and super attentive service, with very good value for money. The aged meat, fried potatoes and mushroom rice are favorites. They have a selection of fairly good wines by the glass.
