IZAKAYA ONI offers amazing, authentic Japanese food with a small but high-quality menu. Vegetarian options are available, and the Veggie Ramen is a must-try. The vegan ramen is absolutely wonderful, rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying, with a well-balanced broth and fresh ingredients. The miso aubergine and pork sandwich are highlights, as are the eggplants, edamames, ramen, fried chicken, and salmon and cod roe onigiri. Japanese drinks are also available. Despite limited seating and occasional waits, the friendly and attentive staff make it worth a return visit. It is a recommended spot in Coimbra with tables on the street and a few tables inside and at the bar.
