I frequent this place, I love it and I returned precisely because I was treated well. Until I received extremely poor service and received by a collaborator. Rude, arrogant. Completed complaints book. The staff can be either excellent or terrible. Good luck!
Very nicely located in one of the old town streets. The service was a bit slow and forgetful, but very nice. We ordered the mixed platter with cheese and sausage, which unfortunately we cannot recommend at all. Both the cheese and especially the sausage had an artificial, musty taste, which unfortunately resulted in stomach problems an hour after consumption. Since we were there on a Sunday evening, I suspect that the sausage was not ordered fresh that day and was not stored correctly...
Incredible!! Tavern with live Fado music, highly recommended. The place is hidden in one of the alleys of Coimbra, it is a very small but cozy restaurant. The food was very good and the service was fast and efficient. The show starts at 9:30 p.m., so they ask you to arrive around 8:30 p.m. if you want to have dinner.
