“Friendly and familiar restaurant, with dish of the day (at lunch) very Alentejo. It is at the back of the cafe, in an interior room.On this day the fava beans accompanied by pork meat were very delicious, we also ordered an extra lettuce salad and a pitcher of fresh white wine.The alternative is freshly grilled meat with old-fashioned fries, no modern frozen potatoes, but those of the time and peeled by hand! Hmmmmmm, good!What I've eaten there and what I've always liked the most are the typical Alentejo dishes cooked in the traditional way, which vary according to the cook's inspiration and what is available in the local market.“

“We had drinks on our first night in this lovely bar. So good we visited several more evenings. Good choice of wine and beer. Friendly staff and a well run place. Lovely decor even the loos were great. If you get an outside table it is fabulous for people watching.“
