I gave it 5 stars for the welcome and friendliness as well as the good food. The restaurant is located on the first floor with a large terrace from which you can enjoy a wonderful view: the ocean and its beach. The food is, for me, plentiful and good. The dourada and octopus salad were our lunch with accompaniments. The cost, all things considered, is very affordable.

It's not expensive...it's very expensive... Desserts are €4.5... The fish they say is fresh but it's not... the worst I've ever eaten, it was only the waitresses with their friendliness that I noticed tried hard to please the customers, moreover... Even the bathroom is dirty, the restaurant is old and out of concept... the cooks scream in front of the customers, something that is not normal and completely annoying to witness. At Fonte da Telha you will certainly find better options, I don't intend to go back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The worst place to eat at Fonte da Telha from the service to the service itself! The hot white wine is an abuse, the sangria is full of sugar and doesn't even contain alcohol, the employees look like they are forced to be there, there is only one girl who enjoys what she does there and I hope she can prosper in life abroad from there!!!!! Really a place that I wouldn't recommend and won't return to, it's terrible even the bathroom is dirty, fdcccc, for all the ones can speak a proper English don't go here my best advice! You have better plans at Fonte da Telha. I would even like to question the last time they had an inspection?!!?! Doubtful…..

picked this as it had some good reviews. sorry it's not great and there are so many better places away from the beach. all looks a bit shabby, waiters were shouting at each other. chips soggy, chicken dry, fish okay but very salty. I would avoid.

This restaurant is completely terrible and deplorable... the service is terrible, how come there are only 2 people to serve so many tables, they really want to make money at the expense of the employees... the restaurant is dirty, as soon as we entered we asked to go to the bathroom and there was water everywhere on the floor... we ordered the food and it took 40 minutes to prepare... it was just some sardines, they weren't fresh and the taste was terrible; dried and salted... 104 euros for this rubbish food, I don't recommend it to anyone if they don't want to be deceived.
Fresh, quality fish, grilled on the spot. Service a bit slow. Terrace on the upper floor with sea view which allows you to enjoy lunch even better. Excellent value for money

The food is really good here. Unfortunately I experienced really poor service. Then to make matters worse I was shortchanged 10 euro when paying. They did return it to me, but not until I left the restaurant and counted my change while walking away and then returning to the restaurant.
