O Mercado offers good food and quick service at an excellent value, with menus including dishes, a drink, dessert, and coffee for €10 during the week and €12 on weekends. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, although the restaurant can get quite full. The lamb stew and mixed meat grill were found to be overcooked and dry in a recent visit, and the dessert mousse was disappointing with a small portion and liquified egg whites. Despite these issues, the overall experience, food, and service are considered good, and the price is reasonable, although it can be loud at times. A large spider was observed coming from the restaurant's exterior webs.
