Tony Tapas & Vinhos is a delightful restaurant, offering delicious food and excellent value. Known for its tasty shared plates, it has been a favorite of guests during their stay in Portugal. The couple running the restaurant provide great hospitality and speak French, making communication easy. While the vegetarian dish didn't appeal to one diner, other meals were freshly prepared. The good was simply excellent, service fantastic and the staff were a pleasure to chat to as they performed their efficient work. They apologized for service being slow and it wasn't; it was welcoming, fast, and efficient. The dishes are carefully prepared, the welcome is warm, and the chef welcomes you with a smile! It’s clear that he loves his job and he cooks with love! All the dishes are refined, careful, even the children's menu with chicken fillets and a homemade basil sauce that gives the chef's touch!
