There are dozens of vegan options, they have awareness to the difference between vegetarian and vegan. Great food and service!
Because off the delivery we could have a lovely dinner in the sunset of our terras.

Buddha & Sakura in Calheta offers a friendly welcome with a pleasant view of the port. The service is fast and attentive. The restaurant's location on the harbor provides a sunny and warm spot with a nice view of the port. Dishes like Salmon Tikka Masala, mango prawn curry, and chicken tikka sizzling plate are big portions, super tasty, and highly recommended. While the ambience might not be perfect, the food's quality and the friendly service make it a good choice. Parking is available nearby in a parking garage, as direct parking on the promenade isn't possible.
