Good vibes around the place. Alot of very delicious chips for quite cheap. Free monkey nuts and garlic beans for just ordering something and this local pub is better than any british pub. The freshly squeezed orange juice is a must have and overall it's very nice. However, one downside is that the service speaks little English so it's hard to communicate if you only speak English or other languages other than Portuguese without the help of someone else or a friend who speaks Portuguese.
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian foods and drinks that you get served and can order.
Parking: There are a few spots to park on the road but still not very many.
Kid-friendliness: You can order non-alcoholic drinks, lollipops, ice cream and some other foods for kids.

If you are a tourist or foreigner, DO NOT go!! They rip you off intentionally knowing this fact about you!! Local small beer on the island is about €1.20 (even top Funchal charge €1.50) & they charged us €2.60!! Also, 1 portion of chips they charged €6! When we questioned the cost knowing the true price, he mumbled angrily & by then it was too late, beer was sipped

Having eaten at thier fish restaurant, I had high expectations . It didn't meet them . The service was very rushed, not giving us any advice or choice . What we had was good but I'm sure could have been better.

Good place to drink some beers and ponchas, and also to watch rallies and play some roulette.But be careful... On Rally days, a sandwich with wine meat and carcass garlic cost €4. I think there was a lot of meat left for teeth...?Other than that, it's not bad. ?
