“Cantinho da Tété in Évora is a gastronomic gem run by a charming couple. Their warm welcome and their passion for cooking create a friendly and authentic atmosphere. The dishes, prepared with fresh, local ingredients, reflect the rich culinary tradition of the Alentejo region. Every bite is a delight, with perfectly balanced flavors and careful presentations. The service is impeccable, with particular attention paid to every detail. Whether for a leisurely breakfast or a small lunch, Cantinho da Tété offers an unforgettable experience that embodies the essence of Portuguese hospitality. We went there 3 times! Perfect and fresh little meals. Don't miss out on tasting the gazpacho (Alentejo version)! Thanks again to Sandra and Riu for sharing local traditions and great discussions!“

“(Translated by Google) It's been almost 40 years since the first time I was there. Glorious 80's, 90's and the beginning of a new life. There, we were all happy in some way. For the 1st group outings, the girlfriends, the motorcycles, and later the cars. It had been 10 years since I had been back there and everything came to mind in a flash.(Original)Já vão quase 40 anos desde a primeira vez que ali estive. “Very nice place, the terrace is great under the 2 huge mimosa trees. I had some crepes with ham and cheese, which would’ve been top if the dough was salty. My wife got a tasty toasted sandwich with ham and cheese. The service was slow, the staff was overwhelmed by the number of orders and a bit lost between who ordered what, but always with the smile on ?.Overall nice experience.“

“The small cafe, located in one of Evora's small side streets, has very good coffee and a wonderful selection of delicious tarts (both sweet and savory).
During our visit at the end of April, we were able to sit outside in the quiet square with large trees and enjoy the late afternoon sun.
The service was very friendly and attentive.“

“Fabulosa pasteleria en la plaza centro de Évora, buenos precios, tranquilo , buenísima calidad y las chicas que atienden muy muy amables, educadas y súper atentas. Da gusto la atención de las tiendas en esta localidad portuguesa. Más tendríamos que aprender los españoles de la atención al público en algunos establecimientos sobretodo los que estamos en Extremadura.“
“My wife and I arrived in Evora after driving from Lisbon. After getting settled we were hungry after having only yogurt for breakfast. The 1st rwo places we tried were closed so we wandered till we located 9 da Praca. What a find! Our server/ owner I'm guessing was very friendly and when I tried to order 3 items for myself she told me that was too much food. She was right. Everything was delicious, service was perfect and the prices reasonable. I had hoped to dine there the next day but she advised that they would be closed. Loved her and the place“

“Lovely café in a shady square. We stopped here a few times during our stay in Évora. Close to the main sites and a lovely quiet spot to enjoy cold drinks and lunch in the shade. We had the ham and cheese toasties and the waffles - both delicious! Also lovely freshly squeezed orange juice and beers served in cold glasses. We’ll be back! Good service and food, reasonable prices!“

“There was a Vegan Bowl I could eat here and the only vegan thing on the menu. However, it was fresh, healthy and tasty with rice, edamame, avocado, cucumber, red cabbage and crispy onions for some extra texture. The server was also very friendly and efficient and spoke perfect English (great when your Portuguese is so basic!). They did oat milk for coffee too. The decor was bright and modern with a relaxed atmosphere and the terrace outside is a nice space. Updated from previous review on 2025-05-15“
“I went to this restaurant with my grandfather to have lunch. Everything was delightful. The owner Mr. João is very welcoming and does his best to create a good relathionship with the customer. In addition to that, the waitress was very polite and made sure that we had everything. The food was amazing. If you go there, make sure you ask for the sweet potato pure, you wont regret it.“

“Large portions of excellent local food, with very reasonable prices (every dish is €8). There is a beautiful courtyard. We eat there every time we visit Évora, and are never disappointed. The frozen grapes in the wine are a lovely touch.“

“Amazing place for a quick bite, coffee or beer with a cigarette. They have sitting inside. Also plenty of spaces in their outside terrace. Gives an amazing view of Praca de Geraldo. I had a coffee with pastel de nata. The service ladies were amazing. Even though I couldn't speak proper Portuguese but they were cooperative. I am not sure about the wheelchair access inside of the restaurant but you can definitely sit outside. Also, I think they offer takeaways. And they do both card and cash payments.“

“Update review:
My initial 1star review was based off of the only experience I had with Crema di Latte which was frustrating.
But due to the team reaching to, empathizing with my frustration and apologizing for the situation, I’m updating my review to reflect my overall experience.
It can’t be 5 stars because my experience wasn’t perfect. But I’ll leave 4 because I know reviews are important for small businesses and they have a great reputation.
Crema Team: I hope to try again sometime I’m back out that way. Thanks for the nice reply. Wish you all well.
Previous review:
Walked 15 minutes here. And they’re closed. Fix you hours on google maps.“
