When we were leaving Evora without being able to eat because we were traveling with a dog, we discovered the Rei dos Frangos. It surprised us with its friendliness, delicious chicken, very correct prices, very good value for money. Totally recommended.

It was the culmination of a wonderful holiday in Portugal. Great atmosphere, excellent food, overwhelming quality-price ratio, charming, quiet, very cozy and familiar place.
We loved a great discovery in a great city. Without a doubt 100% recommended, be sure to visit it.

Chicken full of fat. Burnt potatoes. The bread and olives went away.It is a sin to waste food with so much hunger in the world.I didn't indicate that it was inedible.

I had already gone to get chickens a while ago but stopped going, as it diverted a bit from the route. I went back "loading"... I didn't like it because of the lemon sauce, it alters the flavor of the chicken and in my case it leaves a lot to be desired, it seems like they want to hide some less good flavor of the chicken.... I like plain chicken. They could let you know if you wanted sauce or not. The potatoes were a little over-fried and soft, they seem to have been heated. I will not come back...

What a lovely restaurant and even greater owners. Probably the best barbeque chicken we have ever eaten! Would highly recommend when staying in Evora.
