I had the vegan tacos and they were really really good & clearly had care put into it

Ordered the tacos, they're fairly small but nice. Then decided to grab a dessert - the 'chocolate bar' which is labelled vegan and dairy free. It came with a large dollop of dairy vanilla ice cream, not lime sorbet as the menu suggests. Had to send it back and I expect it was thrown away (as it was heavily garnished).
Also we asked for hot sauce and got charged 1.50 for it (didn't tell us there would be a charge), and asked for tap water and would've been charged 3.00 if we...read full review
We got the chili, tacos, elote, and guacamole with chips. Everything was good however I would say the tacos were overloaded and messy to eat. We wanted to get the quesadilla but they didn’t offer vegan cheese. It was listed as vegan but a quesadilla isn’t a quesadilla without cheese. Guaka is a restaurant that offers a unique dining experience with a modern atmosphere enhanced by Latin American music, creating a lively and fun environment. The staff is very nice and attentive, and exciting deals like free tequila when the countdown expires add to the enjoyment. The menu features delicious and original Mexican dishes, including carnitas tacos, chili con carne, and Mexican rice. There is also a great selection of drinks available, including the beef chili and lime bulldog margarita.
The restaurant has made efforts to cater to dietary restrictions, offering vegan options such as vegan chili, tacos with pumpkin and mushroom, and vegan desserts. However, some customers have noted inconsistencies in the menu, like the 'chocolate bar' dessert that was supposed to be vegan but came with dairy ice cream. The tacos, while tasty, have been described as overloaded and messy to eat, and some diners expressed a desire for more authentic ingredients. Although the service can be average at times, the overall experience remains enjoyable, and many customers would consider returning.
