Restaurante Aquavita - Diogo & Diogo, Lda.

Visited tonight and can only describe it as a fabulous experience. The food and wine were amazing: We had fried prawns in garlic and peri-peri sauce followed by Tagliolini seafood pasta, and my wife had Salted Cod Stew both of which were really tasty, we than shared creme brulee which had a bit of a twist. Some of the reviews say it's a little expensive but worth it for the quality. Staff were very friendly, attentive and only too happy to help with recommendations. Overall would highly recommend.

I had the largest piece of Turbot on the bone that I have ever had.It was amazing and delicious. All the dishes we had were cooked and presented perfectly.What an excellent find on our first night and first holiday in Villamora.

A fantastic atmosphere in the restaurant The quality of the food had been exceptional good. We had the fish soup and the Scampi and salmon carpaccio as started - simply excellent. The main course was the scampi with rice in curry cream and the sea brass. You have to taste it. We can only give a five star plus recommendation.

We have been coming to Vilamoura for years and don’t know why we haven’t been here before, the staff were so welcoming and efficient without being too intense. I had the brazed pork cheeks and can honestly say they are the best I’ve ever tasted, they have an excellent wine selection too. In my opinion this is the best meal I’ve had in Vilamoura and will definitely be back.

Another excellent evening. Quiet (out of season), but excellent food & drink, friendly, helpful staff & good ambiance for a mid week. I chose oysters, octopus & prawn tagliolini (all favourites), but great menu (fish & meat).

Great location on the Marina. Great service, very attentive. Food was good, tasty but quite small portions and expensive. Good wine list.

We went without our child first but we were so impressed that we went back with her a week later before we left. Tried a few restaurants in the marina and this was head & shoulders above them all - not even close. Would recommend this to anyone.

This restaurant has been consistently outstanding for us spanning over 12 years. Menu choice is fabulous with seafood and meat options excellent. Tasty, fresh local food with brilliant service. We’ve only been here four nights this visit but eaten evening meal here twice.

We ate at Restaurante Akvavit twice during our two weeks in Vilamoura and we thought it was outstanding. The food and service level was first class and the feel of the restaurant was so relax, it was a pleasure to eat there, our favourite on this trip! The seafood Vol-au-vant, was a taste sensation and the fish we had on both occasions was cooked to perfection, thank you!

The best restaurant we eat on our trip to Vilamoura. I had Cataplana which one on the best I've had. Not to badly priced as well.

This was an excellent restaurant experience. We booked a table outside on the marina. Our starters of prawns in garlic and a Val au vent of scallops and mushrooms and peppers with a seafood sauce was absolutely scrummy. Then our mains of pork cheeks and smoked leeks with a red wine sauce as well as prawns in garlic with a flavoured white rice was only delicious. We had a very sweet waitress looking after us for the evening. We shared a dessert of Swedish style crepes with all the trimmings and washed it all down with an exceptional Albariño. We loved it so much that we have booked it again for our final night here later this week. We definitely Recommend this restaurant. It’s one of the two or three best restaurants on the Marina for certain. Give it a try.

Starter, main & dessert, could not fault. Imaginative chef, great flavours. Would definitely recommend. Also lovely, attentive staff. We will be back before we go home.
