I found the starters meat samsoa very strange couldn't determine what the ingredients were . The curry was just mediocre , however best nan bread
Had a lovely Korma prawn curry .popadoms and onion Bhajis which are delicious .lovely meal would recommend this restaurant.
Tried this place out tonight after Tripadvisors reviews. Did not disappoint! We went early evening so we were the only couple there. Had chicken pakora as a starter, prawn bhuna, chicken tikka masala, pilau rice, peshwari Nan with a mango lassi. Top notch already planning to go back.
We had prawn biriyani and madras chicken and it was fabulous! Asked for spicy and they delivered (I may have sweated a little). OMG, some of the best Indian food we've ever had! Definitely go visit! It's very small but oh so wonderful!
I love a good curry, was told on Trip Advisor "Not to miss this place". The food we got was watery, runny sauce, weakly spiced and not very pleasant. There did seem to be a lot of people enjoying their food, maybe it was my choice from the menu. I like spicy curry. Make your own mind up. Better atmosphere than the Royal Tandoori down the sttreet
My partner and I came here for one of our meals the week we stayed at hotel luar and both absolutely loved it. The food was amazing and the service was great, it wasn't really busy but that was fine for us. We both loved our meals and would absolutely 100% recommended this place.
Went here because of reviews on TripAdvisor. When order was finally taken,we were told there would be 30 minutes wait on food 1hr 20 mins later food arrived with wrong order, rather than wait another hour on getting it correct I decided to eat what I was given. Don't get me wrong, food was very nice, service was terrible, simple things like your drink has run out.( can I get you another!) Wasn't what you would call busy. Staff were nice but looked out of there depth. Honest review, got better things to do than slag people off for no reason. On way out,I noticed there advertising sign pointed to the other side of the road ! Kind of summed the night up for you lads lol
Visited based largely on the Trip Advisor reviews which have been very positive. One of our party has a gluten allergy which is a concern whenever we eat out. The waiter put our mind at ease as best as he could and we decided to take a chance. The food was very good and the service prompt and polite. We had a madras, two tikka masalas (lamb and chicken) and a prawn pasanda. Enjoyed the meal and it was not expensive at all. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. No repercussions from our coeliac sufferer, either.
Fresh tasty authentic Indian dishes lovely flavours had chicken jalfrezi and husband had lamb madras would recommend was busy had to wait a while but will worth it Prices very reasonable Give it a try if you want some spice
Amazing Indian meal which surprised us as we’re used to good Indian restaurants but not normally in holiday resorts but this was the exception. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The starters were quality and the main courses were just as good. The portion sizes are really good so as normal we’d over ordered but tried our best to finish but failed. All in all I’d recommend this place but I’d try to book because it does get busy as I assume it’s reputation precedes it.

Really good Indian food - is almost say as good as it gets. Everything seemed fresh and of really nice quality. This was much more than “your standard Indian”. The only reason it’s not getting a 5* is because of the service. It was slow, not very attentive and not too friendly. The first waiter didn’t seem to want to be there, but the second was better. Not the easiest place to find and quite a shabby looking courtyard area. Beware of the wind if you sit outside! Up the service game and you’re a true hidden gem ??
During my honeymoon holiday with my wonderful wife, I decided to visit this restaurant, after seeing it by chance, after coming out of the supermarket nearby. I order a lamb rogan Josh. I can honestly say the meal was divine. The meat was cooked to perfection and so was the pishwari naan, that I ordered. If anyone is nearby, please give this restaurant a visit as you will not be disappointed. I’ve tried a decent amount of Indian restaurants in and outside of the UK, but this has to be my favourite.
Located in an obscure corner of a small shopping complex but don't let that dissuade you. This was one of two best meals we had while in the Algarve. When you include the service..........it was by far, the best experience for us. We tried an assortment of dishes and all were equally great. Unlike most restaurant experiences in Portugal, the service was attentive. Very well priced as well. I would have returned if we were in Portimão for a longer period.
Amazing food . A little gem . Visited twice whilst on holiday . If I come to Praia Da Rocha again I will return .
This was one of the best Indian restaurants we have ever visited. The spices in the food were second to none. Very palatable. I had the madras it was hot but so tasty. Tucked away off the main drag, but it was busy and a fantastic experience, we shall go back without a doubt.
