O Portão is superb! My favorite dining location during my recent Portugal visit. If I lived in the area it would be my consistent go-to restaurant. Delicious food - excellent goat - great service, wonderful people & ambience, and local sourcing. Well worth a special trip or a detour to dine at O Portão!

Lovely restaurant. We had bochechas de porco preto com migas and some traditional desert that were delicious. The waiter was fantastic, and is also a singer and sang a bit during dinner. I unfortunately don't remember his name as we had a bit too much to drink. The food was fabulous! We had a great night!
