I came for dinner with my family and we were immediately warmly welcomed. We started with the bolo do caco, followed by grilled tuna steak, black swordfish with banana and passion fruit and bolognese pasta. In terms of quantity/quality, it was quite good, we were well served. Very affordable prices. We drank sangria and poncha, very good and freshly made. Eten is prima, maar de niet op het menu aangekondigde 'service charge' van 10% komt daarna wat rauw op je dak. 'Iedereen doet het' is een mager excuus, want uiteindelijk bleek dit het enige restaurant op Madeira wat ons deze streek leverde.
It was already late midday and we were hungry. The waiters saw us as we sat down. Unfortunately nothing happened for 10 minutes, then we had to ask for the menu. A pity
The slightly lackluster service continued. They often stood in the doorway and chatted instead of looking over at us.
