The snack bar is located inside the old mercado dos lavradores and they offer bolo do caco - a oven baked bread with differnt fillings (comparable to pita). We went here on our way back for little hunger and ordered one bolo with beef (prego) and one with chicken (frango). Both bolos come at a reasonable price for about 3 Euros and are served with some potato chips at the side. The taste of the fillings was rather flat and dry, since the meat/chicken comes on the bread with just a leaf of salad - but ok altogether. Unfortunately the person (a bit of a bored teenager) who served our table was giving some attitude when we asked for some sauce or ketchup to dip.. She kept making laughs and ironic comments to her colleage at the frier. What she didnt know is that we understand portuguese perfectly well. This unprofessionalism added a little dull taste to the experience. :/
