I recently visited the restaurant and unfortunately had an extremely negative experience. The food was disappointing on all levels.
The penne was practically drowned in oil and tasted absolutely bland. The pizza consisted almost entirely of cheese and had no other ingredients that could have improved the taste. The salad seemed to have had virtually no washing, which was very unappetizing.
When we pointed out these deficiencies to the waiter, he only responded with a terse "Yes, bad luck, that's just the way it is." This indifference towards guests is simply unacceptable.
I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was an absolute disaster and I definitely won't be returning.

The food was good, there was no madness or excitement, but it satisfied the hungry person. The side dishes are average, frozen fries, as in most places on the island. The meat is good, although not seasoned. Pasta quite, quite. The service was very nice and professional, especially fast. If you want a short break from sightseeing and a quick meal, I recommend it. The place is not impressive when it comes to views, but there is no problem with tables. The prices are a bit too high for the quality of the dishes, but it's in the city center.

We went to dinner at this restaurant and as we passed by, the owner looked at us. We went to read the menu and backed away so we could enter. Our surprise when we wanted to enter, the owner approached us, immediately closed the gate on the terrace saying that there was no space and that it was closed, having been empty for two months. We were Portuguese, this one only wants to be English. The arrogance with which he spoke to us was indecent. If he didn't have a place, he should have been more polite and respectful to those who wanted to give him money to earn.

Superb discovery of a restaurant. Yummy food especially the picania on stone ?. Nice people. Every plate we had had good portions and was very tasty. The TVs were turned off during our visit so it was calm and nice. Loved the location ?

A truly terrible place on the culinary map of Madeira. The food was impossible to eat: the fries were soggy (probably fried at too low a temperature) and smelled of old oil; rubber squid, absolutely no taste; we received beef in the form of a skewer (Espetada) in the medium-rare version, completely raw, with a really nasty taste - after cutting all 4 pieces, it turned out that it was rather a completely rare version. I told the waiter that it wasn't medium rare and he said that since I had removed all the pieces from the skewer and cut them into pieces, there was nothing he could do about it because, as you can see, I was trying to eat it. I will leave this without comment. In the end, we didn't eat any of the dishes we ordered. The service leaves a lot to be desired, I'm shocked that they have reviews above 4 on Google, because it is completely inadequate to what they offer. The only advantage of this place is the opportunity to watch the match and drink a beer. To sum up: I do not recommend it. Truly the worst experience in Madeira.
