Delicious and surprising local food, fish with banana, delicious, staff is very friendly, speaks good English and the view is really priceless, food with a view. If you come to Madera, this is really a place not to be missed, the decor is a bit old but the kitchen is really a big 9
Our first visit to Restaurante Bar Horizonte occurred on our first night in Madeira. We were tired from the overnight flight plus connections, but soon perked up when our server, Miguel, came to the table with a very warm welcome and proceeded to explain various items on the menu. Great, already spoiled with culinary delights after the first visit, stopped by again the next day. Very good decision, everything positive confirmed and topped. Great, polite staff, courteous and attentive, good quality food and top value for money. On-top great view over Fenchal, mega!If you don't look here, it's your own fault.
