We ate in the restaurant, 2 flights of stairs up. The bar area is on the floor below where the locals congregate. The waiter was friendly and tried to interest us in an octopus dish, and offered us a taste, o.k. but too oily. We settled for an omelette and the local spada fish, both of which were fine and decent value.
As a family of five, we loved our lunch here on a hot Saturday afternoon. The open windows and roof fan kept us comfortable enough.We had three BBQ chicken servings (our little Maltese loved nibbling pieces of it in his dog basket), home-made lasagna, fresh garden salad, and vegetable soup. Super quiet place to eat, cheap and very familiar. The food is literally freshly made and all of very good quality. The views of the Church are the best and eating on the terrace is very nice and cool. Eating two dishes for two people with a drink each for less than €30 is unbeatable.The man who attends is super nice and friendly.
