Amazing vegan sushi platter! Best sushi we’ve ever had! Such creativity with combinations and ingredients! Lovely service and super pleasant atmosphere. Best to book in advance to secure a table :)

The service got a lot worse. It seems that the restaurant has too many customers and it is difficult to manage a "no" with kindness.
Since this restaurant opened, I've been going there, at first more often, now occasionally. The last time I had lunch there, I found the service poor, clumsy, I thought it no longer had the same quality, but the food was good. After that, I decided to give it one more opportunity, I went there in person to make an appointment. I was served with little sympathy, a dry speech, it seemed like they were doing me a favor and that they wanted me not to take up space, they sent me to the restaurant in Aveiro. Today I tried to make an appointment over the phone,
impossible, they disconnect the calls successively. They could at least have an automatic answering machine with a message saying they will return it later, but no,
nothing, the customer doesn't deserve it. They returned the call at 11:49, but at that time I didn't have my cell phone with me, as I didn't know they were returning calls. When I finally managed to get in touch at 12pm, after 18 calls, the first of which was at 11am, there was no longer any vacancy. I didn't like the speech, nor the way
they say "no". Obviously I accept a "no", but not arrogance. The problem is that they have many customers, as of today minus one, those who come all year round and not just in the summer and who also frequent the restaurant in Aveiro. Arrogance, no!

Excellent sushi at a very affordable price, good tonkatsu. Very friendly and considered service, explaining all the dishes. Relaxed environment.

Je suis étonnée de n’avoir jamais mis d’avis sur ce restau dans lequel je vais dès que je viens au Portugal ! J’adore. Sushis/maki/temakis originaux avec des saveurs sucrées salées ! Je suis FAN. Le service peut parfois etre un peu long mais ca en vaut le détour.

Great sushi! We dropped in as we had run along the boardwalk earlier in the morning.
We had 15 fish and 15 vegetarian pieces. I have to say the vegetarian was some of the best sushi I've had.
Definitely let them guide your choices.

I arrived by chance after watching the sunset on the beach. I loved it ? one of the best sushi I have ever tried. All fresh and delicious!
Vegetarian options: I am vegetarian. There is nothing on the menu but they can put together different “improvised” options with fresh and delicious vegetables.

Today’s lunch was definitely a disappointment at Barba Azul. The ingredients used for sushi were not fresh. Squishy texture of the fish and the scallops did not taste good.
Fried shrimps with almonds were good as usual.

Considered by many to be the best sushi in Aveiro. Great quality sushi. Cute and relaxed atmosphere. Good for a meal for 2 or with friends. Very creative and tasty combinations, full of quality and variety. Good spot for sushi lovers
