“Had dinner here last night as it’s a 5 minute walk from where we’re staying. Fabulous. Off the beaten track and very small but food was excellent. We had lobster tails and lamb cutlets with homemade mint sauce. Delicious and reasonably priced. Not many vegetarian options but we’re not vegetarian so not an issue.“

“This is the best per peri chicken on earth. I’ve been coming here for 7 years and it’s amazing. There are only a few dishes on the menu but basically it’s grilled chicken, fries and salad. The incredible. You won’t want to eat this dish again in your own country after tasting this. It gets busy at lunchtime but you can’t book so do consider you may need to queue but they’re fast so you generally won’t wait longer than half an hour for a table depending on your group size. Use your fingers to eat. It’s the best way.

Will go back a million %. It’s the best. Possibly one of my favourite ever restaurants due fo the value.

“We came this evening June 3 at 8:30 p.m. We were very well received.
The servers were very present and helpful, available to their customers.
A small panorama on the terrace, very beautiful to see.
Everything was very very good whether it was meat, veggie or fish.

They even made the effort to speak French with us.
Nothing to complain about, I recommend!!!!

“Great little cafe. We stayed in the hotel next door, and visited several times. They serve a great English breakfast, as well as pizza, steak, burgers, lasagne, fish of the day. I had the English breakfast, an omelette, burger with egg and bacon, all were great. My friend had the peppered steak and egg several times , as well as the lasagne, and said it was great. Soft drinks were only 1.5 Euros.“

4 people, 4 canned drinks+ 2 beers + 1 liter water + 2 chickens+ potatoes+ 1 tomato salad+ 4 desserts was €15/person.
Very long queues, they open from 6:30 pm, I advise you to arrive very early, they do not accept reservations, they have 2 more floors to complete the room, however they manage the entrances depending on the availability of tables - the kitchen's responsiveness.

“Very tasty homemade food. Appetizer, two drinks, half a portion of piri-piri chicken (frango a Guia), homemade fries, mixed salad and a homemade dessert for less than €30.

Wheelchair accessibility: Step at the entrance to access the living room below. To go to the upper floor there are only stairs. Large bathroom with wide doors, accessible but without a turning radius inside the toilet cabin.“

“Small, nice restaurant, without a special atmosphere. But we came for the food. We ordered Frango da Guia. We have already tested almost all the restaurants in the area that offer Frango da Guia. And we can say that THE Frango here was by far the tastiest! And at a very reasonable price!The welcome was warm and very friendly.
