So lucky to have stumbled on this place looking for food the day after we arrived. Ordered the plate of the day which included bread, entree, beverage, and coffee (and possibly dessert... we were stuffed and waived off anything but coffee). The restaurant cooks most of it's dishes in a "Conquistador" wood stove and the results are amazing. The plates we had were excellent. We regretted not trying the Francesinher (Northern Portugal specialty) when we saw it delivered to the next table, but plan on going back for it. Additionally, we were treated to a tour of the kitchen and a lovely conversation with the owner. Remarkably friendly service and delicious food.
