We went with great expectation and enthusiasm, invited by some friends. The appetizers are unsophisticated, the octopus's flavor is covered by an invasive pickle, the goat is hard as a sole and the dessert is horrible with half an overturned salt shaker. The maître'd was a little out of place making jokes about when they "kicked out the Spaniards" and the environment was overly lit with white light and an air conditioning that couldn't be regulated properly.
Still passing through Portugal and well, just for this remarkable table, the trip to Guimaraes is absolutely a must.
