“We decided to go off the beaten track and stumbled across this awesome fish restaurant with a live Rock n roll band. We were made to feel super welcome from the very happy staff. Great to see so many smiles. The food was amazing. I had the Brazilian (don’t be filthy)

“Incredible bar! Came here during a vacation and kept coming back every night, atmosphere is fantastic. Staff is so friendly and always making sure everyone’s having a good time. Especially Maheen, thank you for making my trip a once in a lifetime experience!“
“You must stop here for a drink or a few when you are in Lagos! Great music, drinks and people. If Karly is working, you will be lucky. She is very nice, funny and knows how to make a good drink. We have come back almost every day at least for a cheap beer or cocktail in the Algarve.“

“Bon Vivant quickly became one of our favorite spots to visit during our week in Lagos. We came here our first night for a round of drinks, and loved the vibe off the bat. The following day we came back during the day to try out the rooftop bar which was also a hit. We ordered some appetizers and drinks, Mexican dip and the cheese & sausage board. We loved both of the apps. We found that some bartenders were saying it was cash only, but upon asking others - we found out that wasn’t the case so our only advice is to continue to ask around.“

“One of the best cocktails bars I have ever been to. Just upset that I found this place on the last night in Alvor. I would have loved to of sampled more of them.

“Great location in the middle of the restaurant mile in Alvor.
Highly recommended for outdoor use. The few places are rarely free. The interior is a dream, but the music is very loud. The drinks leave nothing to be desired. Super nice service staff. IT WAS A PLEASURE!!“
“Wish we found this place sooner! Service was awesome. The 2 gents were certainly working hard. We had a drink here before dinner, then returned after for the live music. The singer, Max Whittal, was so talented and we were in awe of the spin he would put on the songs he sung. It's a smaller venue, so we made friends easily...shout out to the UK gentlemen. No food, so no comment. Would definitely return if we are in the Lagos area again.“

If you're ever in Alvor then I'd highly recommend visiting Michael's.

“Found this place on the tail end of our trip, finished all three of our final nights here. Best cocktails in lagos, only place in portugal I found serving up my favorite drink, penicillin. They accommodated my pregnant wife with awesome mocktails as well. We'll be back someday!“
