Pastelaria Algarve offers exceptional quality pastries with rich flavors, as noted by the delicious pastel de nata and Misto Algarve cake. The coffee is hot and of high quality. Customers can enjoy their treats in-house or take them away in a neat box. While a bit pricey at 3€ per cake, customers have praised the pastries as the best they've had in Portugal.
The cafe has a local feel and features a wide variety of typical Algarve sweets, including the delicious tocino de cielo and cream tart with lemon. The almond cake and other pastries are also highly recommended. The desserts are special, and the family management and staff are very kind.
Prices are not exactly low but below average. However, the cafe is cash-only and does not accept card payments. Parking can be a challenge, with paid lots nearby becoming more difficult to find the later you arrive.
