My husband and I traveled throughout Portugal and tasted and rated over 20 different locations, making it over 50 different actual pastel de natas in just a few days. This has been my FAVORITE in all of Portugal. We’ve had them all from the “original” to the gas station versions…hands down this has been my favorite. We also had the lemon curd cookies ???? and the crunchy almond tart ???????? 10/10 for sure!
I'm not sure why this place has such a low rating. Granted I only went there for a second breakfast and didn't really eat anything special. I ate a croissant and had a coffee, but I really liked my small experience. Especially because I'm not used to eating good croissants in Lisbon (I'm used to going to Porto and the croissants there are otherworldly) but these were actually pretty nice, not dry at all, very sweet. Yeah, I recommend it.
